Dining Room Update
I don’t really consider it a “dining room”, because it’s more part of the kitchen and isn’t divided by a wall. Maybe the technical term is, eat-in kitchen, or just dining area. Either way, it’s where we eat our meals, and it’s right off of our kitchen. When we first moved to the farm, the far wall was covered with wallpaper. The border extended throughout the dining area and kitchen. It was one of the first things I tackled in the house and it was NOT fun to remove. Some parts came off so easily, while other sections were SO stubborn. I really love all the new wallpaper patterns, but it makes me question putting it up after I had to take this stuff down.
Up until recently, I didn’t have a rug under the kitchen table. I actually had this rug on our back deck for a couple years, until I had the idea of bringing it in here. Now I can’t imagine not having a rug in here. It cozies up the space so much and adds so much warmth. It’s an indoor/outdoor rug and is super easy to keep clean, even with the kids.
We’re nearing the end of February and I’m itching for spring to get here. I brought out some faux stems that I already had and it makes me excited for spring even more.
